Gabrielle B. clings on to desires in “Body”

What's the name for that in-between phase with someone when you're friends yet fully aware of your feelings? Is it the Friendzone? Maybe a Situationship? Even an Entanglement? We've coined all kinds of names for this ambiguous stage over the years, yet still can't quite express what it's like to experience it firsthand- believe me, I get it.

There's a lot of uncertainty during this time, what to do or say becomes gradually harder & sometimes taking a step back completely feels like the best option. But, that won't satisfy those hidden desires circulating your mind...and giving life to your heart. Gabrielle B., an LA-based songstress, has articulated all of those risky feelings we never know quite how to vocalize on her new single "Body".

There's no denying the level of openness you must have to audibly express feelings this way, but Gabrielle B. has proven multiple times over that there's no shame in being direct about how you feel. The initial half minute is an exquisite blend of drums and strings, kicking off with a funky bassline which is complemented by reverberating electric guitar notes and background drum beats.
