Caymanian culture meets streetwear fashion with the KY Brand

The KY Brand is a new local clothing brand that is centered on welcoming an updated streetwear style to Caymanian fashionwear. Founded by 21-year-old, Javier McKenzie, the KY Brand's first release consisted of a vibrant line of Cayman-inspired hats. Released just in time for the heat of Summer 2022, this brand exhibits uniqueness which will stand against the test of time. Each color is proudly named after the fauna & natural qualities that is the Cayman Islands. Their hats sport an embroidered 'KY' emblem on the crown & are lined in a plush suede which sets them apart from the average hat.

During the KY Brand's early stages of release they successfully hosted a Pop-Up shop & an Afro beats vs. Dancehall party. Those who supported the brand through purchase were able to reap benefits other than the stylishness of these caps by being granted free entry into the event. The overall appreciation and support from everyone who turned out made the night one to remember.
